Long ago, there was a place full of happiness called the Joyful Village! The people there sang and danced every day!

There were some superheroes to protect the village: Ribbon Girl, Spring Man, Party Boy and Master Fun. Ribbon Girl enjoyed singing and dancing. She used ribbons to fight. Spring Man could jump really high. He could even blast wind tornados to blow away villains. Party Boy always screamed very loud!

Samson the Evil Man, the worst villain ever, enjoyed building machines to destroy the village. He planned to build some spiders to destroy the village!

“Oh! No! I saw a huge spider! Help!” shouted a boy. A huge pink spider with ten legs jumped over them! It smashed the swings and chased after the kids. Luckily, Master Fun and the superheroes tied the spiders together. Finally, the spiders tangled but Master Fun was so tired.

“I’ll build more enormous machines to destroy the village! You can’t stop me next time!” shouted Samson. When Samson was gone, the chief sent the superheroes to search for him and stop him from building the machines.

Ribbon Girl searched the ground; Spring Man searched the sky; Party Boy searched underground. “I found Samson’s hideout!’ said Party Boy. Then the superheroes sneaked into Samson’s hideout. Suddenly, Ribbon Girl tripped but she found something under her. “Oh! It’s Samson’s diary!” whispered Ribbon Girl. They read it quietly.

“Sh! Samson is sleeping!” whispered Spring Man.
They tiptoed out of the room and found a vast room with lots of diaries. “I can’t wait to read them! We could know the past of Samson,” whispered Party Boy.
Finally, they found the perfect diary that showed them all about Samson.

P.1: Today, I was sad and hungry. I could only drink water for the whole day.
P.3: I don’t want to be an orphan. I want to have my own parents.
The last page: I’ve had enough of living in an orphanage. If I’m not happy, nobody can be happy!

When they finished reading, they felt like they knew Samson before. “Of course! We used to play with the children in the orphanage!” said Ribbon Girl. “Now I remember Samson was the kid who nobody played with!” said Spring Man. Suddenly, Samson woke up. He heard them talking about him.

“What do you want?” Samson shouted, “We’re so sorry!” “We know that you felt sad. We can help you! We can play with you sometimes,” said the superheroes. “You really think that I can be happy?” said Samson. “Of course! Everyone deserves happiness!” said Party Boy joyfully!

“You will no longer be Evil Man. Or you can become a superhero too!” shouted Ribbon Girl happily. Samson agreed. They ran back to the Joyful Village together. They became friends! Samson then lived happily by helping the villagers to build things.
Secret: Samson’s new name was Joyful Man.
