In 1979, Tony was born in a poor family in UK which farms horses to earn money. When he was small, he could not go to school because his parents did not have enough money to send him to school. Therefore, he had lots of time play with the horses.

Tony liked riding horses. However, when he was riding on them, he got his father’s punishment and fell down on the ground. Tony wanted to ride on horses successfully so much. One day, he thought an idea. While his father was sleeping deeply, Tony tiptoed out of the house

Tony saw a lot of horses. There was one with brown beautiful hair. Tony knew, it was the horse which ran the fastest in the farm. It was also his father’s favorite horse. Tony sat on it and started to model his father beating it.

The horse made a strange noise and ran quickly. ‘Wow!’ shouted Tony. It ran too fast, ‘Your name’s Pony! Go!’ He just thought of the horse’s name.
Suddenly, Pony gave a quick turn and Tony fell down. ‘Oh…’ Tony whispered painfully, ‘Horsing seems too dangerous…’

On Tony’s eighteenth birthday, a very sad thing struck Tony’s heart─his father died. Before going to heaven, his father said him, ‘Tony, remember to carry on my dream. I want to be a horse racer and win medals with my horses.’ Tony cried and promised his father.

Tony got married when he was nineteen. His wife knew that Tony wanted to be a horse racer so she told tony to get up to train at five every morning. Although he was sleep, he still rode on Pony and did some exercise every day.

After a year of training every day, Tony was ready for the world horse racing competition. He joined it. He was quite confident about it. Also, he must be the champion because reward was about ten thousand pounds. It would help Tony to buy a new house.

On the racing day, Tony went to the racing course by riding Pony. Tony discovered that other racers had stronger horses and they worn helmets. A tall racer pointed at Pony and laughed, little horse won’t win!’ Tony did not argue with him because Pony could run very fast.

The racers with their horses were readying to race in the gate. The audience was cheering and rhe racers, especially Tony, were waiting excitedly. The gate opened. All the horses were rushing toward but Pony was still standing. ‘Pony! What’re you doing here? Rush!’

Tony beat Pony. Pony made a strange noise and started to rush extremely fast. Tony almost fell off but he luckily held the rope firmly.
Pony’s speed surprised the audience. They started to cheer Pony. Tony looked at Pony. He was delighted and surprised.

‘Go ahead, Pony!’ shouted Tony, he beat Pony again. Pony made the strange noise again. He increased the speed. He started to catch up. Tony noticed that he was the one who laughed at him before. The racer’s face turned red. Tony then beat Pony again.

Pony ran faster and faster. He caught up most racers. At the last fifty metres, Pony only had to catch up with one horse to get the champion. Pony ran by his extreme speed. Finally, Pony caught up the racer.

The two racers beat their horses. They almost passed the finish line together. When the audience was discussing, the judge announced that Tony won! Although Tony could buy a new house using the money, he donated the money to charity. Since then, Tony farms horses and has wonderful farmer lives.
