Once upon a time, there was a beautiful girl called Jane. She was tall and thin. She was arrogant. She didn’t like to make friends because she always thought she was the most beautiful person in the world.

One day, she went to the park. She walked along a stream. She dropped her bracelet into the stream carelessly. Jane jumped into the stream to look for her bracelet. “Where am I?” Jane thought. She went to a place where she saw a lot of fairies.

A beautiful fairy, Kitty walked towards Jane and said, “Who are you? Why are you here?” Jane replied, “I don’t know. I dropped my bracelet into a stream. I jumped into the stream and looked for my bracelet. And now, I’m here.”

Kitty was a nice fairy. “Shall we be friends?” asked Kitty. Jane said, “No! I never make friends with others.” Kitty was mad. She thought Jane was too arrogant and rude. She wanted to teach Jane a lesson. She walked away.

Kitty did some magic and made Jane fall asleep. Jane had a dream. She dreamt that she fell into a well. It was very dark. There was no food or water. She lost her voice, too. She was very helpless. After a while, Jane heard Kitty’s voice.

Jane wanted to ask for Kitty’s help but she could not speak. She had an idea. She picked up a stone and threw it out of the well. Kitty asked, “Is somebody in the well?” Jane threw out another stone. Kitty flew down to the well and saved Jane.

Jane missed her family so much. She wanted to go back home. She wrote to Kitty for help. Kitty said, “Your voice will come back and you can go back home if you can make a good friend here.”

Suddenly, Jane woke up. Jane cried. Jane wrote some words on a piece of paper. She wrote to Kitty, “I’m sorry. I should not have been so rude to you before. Now, I know that friends are important.” She asked for Kitty’s forgiveness.

Finally, Kitty forgave Jane and made friends with Jane. Jane got her voice back. Kitty sent Jane back to the human world. Before Jane left, Jane hugged Kitty. Jane said, “When can we meet again? Where can I find you?” Kitty said, “I can see you whenever you miss me.”

Jane met Kitty every night before she went to bed. Jane shared her happiness and unhappiness with Kitty every night.
