Peter has two pets, hamster Be Be and cat Mi Mi. Mi Mi does not like Be Be because she thinks Be Be takes all the attention from Peter.

One day, Peter goes to school. Mi Mi has just eaten a fish but she wants more. However, there is no one to prepare food for her to eat. She looks at Be Be’s cage and a plan is made in her mind.

Mi Mi climbs up the table and steps in front of Be Be’s cage. She extends her paw and uses her claws to open the door lock of the cage. Suddenly, Be Be jumps out! She tries to catch Be Be, but she can’t.

Mi Mi starts worrying and thinks, “Where is Be Be? Peter will punish me when he finds out Be Be is gone because he will think that I’ve eaten Be Be. I will still be punished even though I have not eaten Be Be. That is not fair.”

She runs around the living room, but still cannot find Be Be.

Later, Peter finds that Be Be’s cage is open and Mi Mi is running around in the living room. He thinks that Mi Mi has eaten Be Be so he is very angry. He scolds her loudly.

At night, Peter doesn’t prepare dinner for Mi Mi as a punishment.

Three days later, although Be Be is found in his bedroom, Peter still cannot forgive Mi Mi. Mi Mi thinks that staying here is very difficult. At last, she leaves Peter’s home secretly.

This story tells us that we should not be greedy. Otherwise, we will be punished.
