One day after school, Sam went home as usual. He played his paper plane happily after he finished his homework. Uh oh! However, he threw too hard. The paper plane flew into an apple tree. He was very sad. He went home and took his toy ship.

Sam played with his toy ship happily on a river near his house. Uh oh! However, he was careless so he let his toy ship float away. He tried to chase and catch his toy ship. However, the toy ship floated away too fast, so he couldn’t catch it.

Then, Sam had an idea. He pulled off his T-shirt and jumped into the river. He swam as fast as he could, but he still couldn’t catch his toy ship. He got out of the river and sat down. He rested for a while and jumped into the river again.

However, Sam swam even slower than the last time. Also, he found that there was a sign. The sign said, “Don’t swim in the river.” He jumped out of the river immediately. He laid on the grass and looked at the sky.

Sam laid on the grass and thought, “How can I get the toy ship back? Chase after it? Swim after it? No! I tried, but it was no use. So, what can I do? I can’t think of anything!” Suddenly, he jumped up with excitement.

Sam ran back to his home and took a fishing net. He ran back to the river and swung the fishing net into the river. He couldn’t catch it, so he tried again. This time, he got his toy ship back. He was very glad and ran back home.

Then, Sam went to the apple tree. He tried to blow down the paper plane. He breathed in deeply and blew it out again. However, there was no movement. He breathed in more air and blew the plane. He heard the leaves move, but his paper plane didn’t fall.

So, Sam huffed and puffed, just like the big bad Wolf. This time, the sound of the leaves was louder. However, his paper plane still didn’t fall. He was so upset. “I can’t ever get my paper plane back” he thought.

Then, Sam thought of a second idea. He held the trunk and shook it. Suddenly, some apples fell down and hit Sam’s head. “Ouch!” he cried. His head was so painful. A minute later, he shook the tree trunk again. However, it was no use.

When Sam wanted to go home, he saw something had fallen. It was the apples again! He ran as fast as he could. However, he was still hit by an apple. His head was very painful. He fainted on the grass. After an hour, he opened his eyes.

Sam walked home slowly. His head was still so painful. He took a bamboo stick from his home and walked back to the apple tree. He used the stick to hit the paper plane. However, the plane didn’t fall. He hit the plane again, but there was still no movement.

Suddenly, something fell down. It was his paper plane! Sam was extremely glad and excited. He ran back home and sat on his bed. “I will be more careful and look after my things from now on.” he thought. He had learned a valuable lesson from.
